Welcome to French with Timo! 🇫🇷
Salut ! 👋
I'm so glad you're here. If you want to improve your French in a fun and practical way, you're in the right place.
My goal is to help you go from intermediate to fluent by focusing on real, everyday French.
Bonjour ! My name is Timothée, but most people call me Timo. I was born and raised in France and I’ve always been passionate about languages and teaching.
I now live in Mexico, where I teach French to students from all over the world. Living abroad has shown me what it really feels like to learn and practice a new language outside of the classroom. That’s why I focus on real, everyday French, the kind you’ll hear in conversations, movies, or when traveling.
Besides teaching, I love sharing French culture. Music, art, food and wine are some of my favorite topics, and they often find their way into my lessons, podcasts and workshops. For me, learning a language isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary. It’s about connecting with the culture that goes with it.
Creating all this content is something I truly love, and your support is what allows me to keep doing it.

French is often taught in a very academic way.
But real French is messy, alive, cultural, emotional and deeply connected to everyday life.
Through podcasts, films, music, conversations and cultural analysis, I want to help you experience the language in a more natural and enjoyable way.
Because learning French shouldn’t feel like studying for an exam.
It should feel like entering another world.
À très vite,
Timothée
